Narayan Gopal

Narayan Gopal was born on 4th of Oct.1939.His full name is "Narayan Gopal Gurwacharya".

He was froma Newar family and his father was also a classical musician so he got inspiration from his father to get into the musical field.He learnt music from India.

If we talk about the Nepali music then the first name which comes is "Narayan Gopal".

Because of his voice he was given a name "Swar samrat" meaning "King of voice".

So he is called as a "Swar samrat Narayan Gopal".Most popular songs of him are:

-Euta manchey ko

-Yo Samhine man cha

-Kehi mitho baat gara

-Ma marepani

He also use to compose his own songs.He has sang so many songs in the Nepali movies too.Some of the famous one are"Mohani lagala hai,birata ko chino".

He had a bad habit of drinking alchohal.Because of his this habit he died on 5th of Dec 1990 in the age of 51.The last song he sang was "Yo mutulai".
